LAV.ISH
THE LAMB CHOPS OF MUSICAL STYLINGS

From the beginning, LAV.ISH set out to make a “Big Splash” in the Des Moines music scene. And that’s exactly what they’ve done.

The group gained traction almost immediately upon forming in 2017, booking gigs and appearances across the Midwest. They’ve brought their upbeat, party-starting hip-hop sound to local venue Wooly’s, Iowa’s famous RAGBRAI event (the oldest, largest and longest recreational bicycle touring event in the world), and later as direct support to Grammy-winning artist and superstar, Lizzo, when they opened for her at the University of Iowa’s homecoming event. LAV.ISH’s debut album With A Dot In The Middle (2018) caught the attention of producers with Des Moines music festivals 515 Alive, and 80/35.
LAV.ISH continued to push the local music scene by creating
Des Moines CultureCon; an indoor music and arts festival that headlines local artists and businesses.

Their latest 2020 release, Lost & Fond offers fans a more refined sound that fan-favorite singles “U R” and “Ms.Fortune” took to new heights prior to the full album’s release.

The high-energy, good-time-guaranteed sound is brought to life by Carl Lane III (Vocalist), Nim Kaufman (Vocalist), Lucas Brandt (Producer/DJ/Keyboard), and Brandon Herman (Producer/Keyboard). Diverse, clever, and talented. LAV.ISH has a tune for anyone to tune-in to and enjoy. With clean flows and cleaner clothes big things are ahead for the band and it's brand.
